Integrated Weigh Station Module

January,  2000 --  CT3 has developed an integrated Weigh Station module for Warm Springs Forest Products Industries.  Warm Springs has implemented the new module by connecting a terminal in a Weigh Scale shack to their company network.  Weights are electronically captured from the weigh scales.  Load numbers can be scanned from barcodes on the load tickets.  The new module is fully integrated with the other modules in CT3's Log Management System.  This integration has allowed Warm Springs to discontinue the use of separate legacy software and to fully benefit from the data that is already maintained in LMS.  Information that previously had to be keypunched in for each truck load, can be pulled from LMS Settings and Logger tables.  These developments have helped to insure that Warm Springs met their goal of reducing manual entry of weight ticket data, and of ensuring a smooth process for the Weigh Station.
