Southeast Operations

Southeast Operations

March,  2000 --  CT3 is happy to announce a new partnership with Cahaba Forest Management.  Cahaba or CFM is based just outside Birmingham, Alabama.  CT3 has tailored a version of the Log Management System (LMS), for CFM’s log and timber operations in the Southeast. Processing in the Southeast is primarily geared towards ton volumes and weight transmissions. It may be interesting to note that the Southeast has fairly complicated Marketing arrangements. Various products produced from the same Tract (Setting), may be sold as logs or as stumpage, and under different financial and contractual terms. Thus, hardwood pulp may be sold as Pay-as-Cut Stumpage, while pine sawlogs from the same Setting, are marketed directly to customers as direct log sales.

CT3 would like to congratulate Regina Carlisle, Robert Mozingo, Mike Wolf, Kim Doherty, George Yeager, and Kristen Spruill (CFM's project lead), on completing their first financial close using LMS. From CT3 - Thanks folks, for a fun and successful implementation.
